Job Description
Cabana Captain
As a Food & Beverage Captain at the Cabana, you play a key leadership role on the floor, supporting daily operations, guiding the service team, and ensuring each guest enjoys an exceptional resort experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning March 2026.
Starting rate of pay: $19.75 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.20
Job Duties Include:
- Lead by example to ensure high service standards, teamwork, and morale
- Confidently engage with guests, resolving concerns promptly and professionally
- Provide on-the-floor training and mentorship to new and existing colleagues and team members
- Motivate the team to meet or exceed service and sales goals
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including preparation methods and ingredients
- Guide guests through the menu with confidence
- Support the F&B management team in daily operations and special initiatives
Qualifications
- Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safe Certification is required
- Serving It Right Qualification Required
