The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Learning Support teaching position starting from January 23, 2026 to March 10, 2026 at Cochrane High School.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

The following qualifications are preferred for the Learning Support Teacher:

Minimum 5 years classroom teacher experience
1-year educational background or experience in one of the following areas:
Learning Supports
Inclusive Education
Special Education
Disability Studies

Pre-employment Requirements

Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at .
The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
